A QuaD Made It

About me

  • My Maker Journey: I am an inventor at heart. Previously, I had to rely on others to bring my visions from concept to completion. A year ago, I started 3D printing and laser engraving/cutting. Now, for the first time, I can carry out a vision entirely on my own, despite my physical limitations.

  • Overcoming My Injury: At 16, I tragically broke my neck after a swimming and diving accident. In an instant, I was paralyzed in my legs and partially paralyzed in my arms and hands. But I will be the first to tell you I have not let that stop me from living life to the fullest possible. My adventures have included skydiving, ziplining, and earning a Gold Medal playing wheelchair rugby in the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia.

  • Giving Back: A percentage of proceeds from my coaster sales go to another of my loves, Canine Companions (canine.org), a cause dear to my heart.

  • My Service Dog: Mr. Vanetter, or "Van" for short, is my third service dog. These dogs not only serve as my physical helpers, but they also lift my spirits during difficult days.

Hello this is my first web page and I am happy to be helping Daniel. I love to code and have many games, I use Base44 and scratch. I was born in Seattle in 2013 and moved to San Diego 9 years later, thats where I met Daniel at a service dog event. I have a drop out service dog (who then became a therapy dog) and love helping the community in every way I can. Daniel’s work is so high quality and inspiring!
